MAKEUP & STYLING VENTURE FOR TV!

My profession is no way a fashion stylist but give me the opportunity to dress someone for an occasion or event and I’m there with a suitcase jam packed full of clothing and accessories!

I have loved fashion from a very young age and over the years have bought many beautiful key pieces resulting in having a nice size collection at home of clothing, shoes and accessories all very well cared for.

I have been working with Blondie Media Productions as their Head of Marketing for a little while now and I’m also the Hair & Makeup Artist for the company owner & TV Presenter Naomi Isted.

The end of last year Naomi let me style her for several episodes of Blondie Media’s latest show Harley Street Beauty as well as doing her Hair & Makeup.

This I thoroughly enjoyed and as Naomi has since been asked on a few occasions what she was wearing in the episodes. I have pulled some pictures together and stills from filming on what I chose for her.

To see more of Naomi and clips from the show please visit her Youtube Page.

Episode 5 Harley Street Beauty - Naomi's Black Gold studded Jacket by Temperley London
Episode 8 Harley Street Beauty - Black Vest by Rick Owens &

Naomi's Makeup
As all filming at Blondie Media Productions is done in High Definition, I ensured Naomi's skin looked flawless by using Makeup Forever HD Primer and applying Temptu Foundation with my Iwata Eclipse BS Airbrush. All available from Guru Makeup Emporium

For Naomi's Eye, Cheek and Lip colour I used a selection of makeup from MAC, Shu Uemura and Chanel.  Not forgetting some strip lashes by Eyelure!

Harley Street Beauty is currently showing daily on Sky 266 and features all the beauty & surgery secrets of the stars.

For those who don't have access to SKY, all the episodes can be viewed here.

LFW BORA AKSU AW13 - ASSISTING HAIR DESIGNER CHRYSOSTOMOS CHAMALIDIS

Last month I was extremely happy again to assist Hair stylist Chrysostomos Chamalidis for London Fashion Week.

Chrysostomos was the Key Hair Designer for Bora Aksu AW13 show that took place in the Courtyard Space at Somerset House in front of a celebrity filled crowd including Kate Nash & Laura Whitmore.

The show was sponsored by hair brand KMS and with Chrysostomos own personal team we worked together with members of the KMS UK Education Team to create the amazing hairstyle on the model’s backstage.

Bora Aksu AW13 collection was inspired by Roszika (Rosie) and Janszieka (Jenny) the Dolly Sisters who were Hungarian identical twins that moved to New York City where they danced in unison and proceeded to tour Europe to sell out shows

The sisters were the ultimate icons of the roaring twenties, known not only for their dance acts but their elaborate costumes and ornate headpieces.

The main objective for the hair was to achieve an extremely high shine look and for this we used KMS products HAIRSTAY anti-humidity seal, HAIRSTAY styling gel SILKSHEEN polishing serum and adding some colour throughout the plaits we used Kryolan Blue hair spray paint.

The beautiful makeup for the show was designed by Key Makeup Artist Maria Papadopoulou using Ellis Faas and the stunning collection of headpieces  were made by knitwear designer Liria Pristine.
