Following my last Blog, I’ve had a few people asking
me what Lucas Papaw is? I mentioned it a few times throughout the products I
used on both looks. So for those of you who haven’t heard of it I am going to
tell you a little about what it is and why it’s one of my all time favorite
products to have in my makeup kit and also to have at home.
Lucas
Papaw Ointment is an established cult beauty essential. A
world-proven remedy of over 80 years where the balm is made from the papaw tree
(Carica Papaya).
This ointment is personally the best lip balm I have
ever found! It is also unbeatable
for cleansing and relieving numerous skin irritations as listed below.
Helps with skin irritations including: -
• Abscesses, boils, bruises and burns
• Carbuncles, skin chafing, cuts and cysts
• Dry and cracked skin on hands and feet
• Gravel rash, heat rash and insect stings
• Mosquito bites, open wounds and pimples
• Scalds, sunburn and swelling associated with injury
• Splinters and thorns
• Nappy rash and cracked nipples
• Temporary relief of the symptoms of dermatitis and
eczema
Also found in all the celebs and beauty experts essentials
list. This
is a great multi-purpose balm. You
can use it on its own on your lips or if you mix it with a lipstick you will achieve
a sheerer colour.
Another
great makeup tip is you can use it as a highlight/gloss over your cheekbones and/or eyes to
give you that dewy, fresh look or comb it through your eyebrows to slick them into place!
Ingredients: The ointment contains 39mg/gm of
fresh fermented paw paw, unguent Carica Papaya L, and 0.1mg/g of potassium
sorbate as a preservative.
The base of the product is pharmaceutical grade petroleum jelly that
meets the purity standards of the United Stated FDA and the European
Pharmacopeia.
Lucas
Papaw Remedies come in three sizes 25g Tube, 75g & 200g Pot.
