My second show for London Fashion Week AW14 was assisting the amazing key makeup artist Ayami Nishimura with AOFM for designer Nair Mazhar at the courtyard show space, Somerset House.
I was so excited about this show as I’ve admired Ayami’s work for such a long time now and it was a honour to be to be able to assist her.
The makeup look was heavily influenced by the American 90's hip hop look and here’s how we achieved the look.
After cleansing we started by adding foundation and concealer where needed.
Then with a MAC Gel liner creating a triangle shape we extended vertically and a straight line to create the dramatic eyes carrying it to the inner corner of the eye top and bottom with a small triangle. Some of models featured metallic foil which was placed on top of the triangle with eyelash glue.
False lashes were added with mascara.
The eyebrows were adjusted up a little and angled by powdering and to cover the remaining visible part of the models eyebrow we used concealer.
The lips we lined with a brown lip liner which was blended then we added a brown lipstick and a ultra nude lip gloss to the the centre of the lips and a clear gloss was applied all over.
We finished the look with slight contour.
