Whats the influences behind your collection: The collection is inspired by girls that are more interested in being outside and creating their own adventures than caring about what they should be doing or wearing. It focuses on that age where everything you do feels like an adventure. The concept of the collection is all about the idea of throwing garments together without any real consideration. Their lack of care is what makes them look interesting.
Whats your plan for the future: I have been awarded funding for my social enterprise, so I hope to pursue this further, as well as take some time to visit garment manufacturers in Bangladesh and Kenya. Over the summer though I hope to take a break from drawing mountains to climb some instead!

What’s the influences behind your collection: Going against the developed philosphy which places man within a cyclic model of society. Influenced by modern day medication, August Sanders photography, and the women of the Bauhaus movement the collection creates a prescribed form for woman, clinically effeminate and stark.
A heavy silhouette created through the use of bold prints, intricate embroidery, and the juxtaposition between subdued and outburst of colours.

What’s your plan for the future: Travelling, gaining experience within the industry, helping me build a foundation for my own label.
Who would you most like to see wearing your clothing: A stark women with an attitude towards masculine men, someone who smokes, careless in appearance and doesn’t stick to gender roles.

What’s the influences behind your collection: Exploring what makes a woman powerful and what makes her weak. Relationships and break ups can make a woman incredibly vulnerable – I wanted to capture this feeling. Not wanting to change out of your pajamas, however having to push forward and carry on. I also have a strong 70’s essence to my design work, which came from looking at Halston and old 70’s clothes catalogues.
Whats your plan for the future: I want to learn as much about the Fashion Industry as I can – design, buying, sales
Then start my own business – either in design or working with designers.
Who would you most like to see wearing your clothing: I’d like to see woman who are confident and have a presence wearing my clothes.
